Almost every single doctor will recommend taking probiotics and antibiotics at the same time. If they don’t recommend this, get your own probiotics.
Antibiotics change the balance of your gut. They will kill your infection, but at the same time, they kill your good bacteria. Don’t worry about this as you have plenty of good bacteria in your body, but you have bad bacteria too. And if the bad bacteria outweigh the good bacteria, your gut and your body get out of balance. A side effect of antibiotics can be diarrhoea, stomach cramps and bloating. A good probiotic will prevent this.
Are antibiotics a good thing?
Nobody wants to overuse antibiotics because of the immune system but the benefits of probiotics mean that the antibiotics do their job, do it as quickly as possible, and your immune system strengthens. You should only take antibiotics for bacterial infections. Doctors, and of course this is not all doctors, sometimes recommend antibiotics because they are super conservative but, antibiotics do not fix everything. If you feel anxious, you can question your doctor and ask if there are options. But if you are prescribed antibiotics, always take a probiotic at the same time. They are natural, they restore gut health, they prevent side effects from antibiotics, and they help you to heal.
Natural medication over chemical medication
We think that there is a place for everything, If you are sick and you need to take prescription medication, of course, you must take it. If you are sick and you need a set of antibiotics, take them. You will heal quickly and that is the most important thing. There are also many excellent natural medications or supplements but of course, these are for different things. Vitamins and nutrients are always good supplements to take, magnesium is excellent, and a good probiotic will always help your digestive system. Any natural supplement is potentially a good supplement, but read the instructions so you know what to take. And we never recommend you take the most expensive supplement either. As long as the supplement is natural, it is good to go. Just like your gut, balance out the natural supplements and the chemical supplements!
Antibiotics and prescriptions
Always see a doctor if you suspect you need antibiotics. There are many kinds of antibiotics on the market, for different illnesses, so you do need to be prescribed the right antibiotic. You might not know if you need an antibiotic but your doctor will know. Sometimes you can cure an illness or virus quickly with a set, so don’t avoid them. If you are worried about side effects, and actually it is a necessity and not just a worry, take probiotics and antibiotics together.
