Everybody is talking about the high price of energy. A lower SRP electric bill is not something that we are all just discussing but it is something that we all have to have. The cost of energy has become insanely high, not just in America but all around the world. And while we are trying to harness as much energy as possible from the wind, the sun and the water, we still rely on the electric grid. And if we rely on the electric grid then we rely on our electricity bills suppliers. And if they cannot provide us with better options, and if they cannot be involved in finding innovative ways of saving electricity and working with consumers, then consumers need to make other plans.
Electricity and consumers
An electricity supplier has got to offer better energy management systems. We have just read a story in France about how shops have been ordered to keep their doors closed when the air conditioning units are on. This makes total sense. Air conditioning units use a ton of energy and while they are desperately needed especially during these heat-wave summer European months, they waste so much energy if the doors are left wide open. While an energy supplier in the USA is not going to tell you to shut your doors and keep energy inside, they are going to help you learn how to use energy more efficiently. And one of these ways would be by supplying you with one of their energy management systems.
Do you pay for an energy management system?
There are many energy suppliers in the United States which is a good thing because competition is always a good thing. Some energy suppliers charge for an energy management system and some charge more than others. Quite frankly an energy management system should be free of charge. It works for the energy supplier and the energy consumer if less energy is used. An energy supplier will assemble an energy management system into a home, apartment block, hotel, restaurant or office block, anywhere that uses energy really, and show you how to set it and use it. It is up to the supplier and the consumer to ensure the best settings and obviously to ensure the best and lowest energy prices. If your energy supplier is not coming to the party, go to the competition. Nothing is stopping you except perhaps loyalty. But low energy bills far outweigh any feelings of loyalty.
Make contact with your energy supplier
Make contact with your energy supplier immediately. Tell them your bills are way too high and you need concrete ways to lower your bills. See what they come up with. If they talk about energy management systems, listen carefully because this is what you want. An energy management system will help you save energy and bring your bills down quickly. The idea behind this is to get a lower SRP electric bill and as a consumer, you have a right to this.
